The monkey and tiger are two animals from the five element model of Chinese Medicine.
Monkey represents the Earth element; nurturing support for the self, digestion and the spine.
Tiger represents the Metal element; engaging with others across boundaries/differentiation between good and bad, the breath and the hips.
So - with Monkey and Tiger Chi Kung
- We look at how we look after ourselves and how we interact with others
- We encourage our digestive and breathing processes
- We loosen up and strengthen our spine and our hips
Basically if we've got these things right then life is pretty good!
